Grand
Canyon Raft Trips with Charly, 'The Canyon Guy':
The
company for which Charly works is Canyon Explorations and Expeditions.
If you want to go on a trip with him, you must first send a deposit
guaranteeing a spot on a specific trip. Then you can send a letter
requesting Charly Heavenrich on the crew. Please note that Canyon
Explorations cannot guarantee that they can schedule him on a specific
trip. However, they will certainly take your request into consideration
when making up the schedule.
To
receive a brochure and information on cost and schedules visit their
web site at www.CanyonExplorations.com.
You can expect to pay around $220 - $260 U.S. a day. What you will
get for your investment is "room and board" (possibly
exceeding your expectations) while on the river, a rotating canopy
of stars overhead, and a different, unparalleled mural in your "bathroom"
every day. To catch a glimpse of what you will see, visit Charly's
Image Gallery.
